THIS IS REAL 1968 SS CHEVELLE (138 in the vin number) original 4 speed, big block car. I built this car from the ground up about 17 years ago. ***Always stored inside and under a cover*** *Paint was totally stripped and repainted the original color. *Trans was gone through. Clutch replaced. *Rear end replaced with new 355 gears and a True Track. *Brakes are new. *Gas tank and sending unit new *Trunk stripped, painted correctly, new correct trunk mat/liner *Fuel lines new. *Starter new *Alternator New *Distributor and MSD box upgraded and new *Battery new *Radiator new. *Interior all totally redone but looks 100% all original. Mint dash, door panels, headliner--all new. *New carpet / insulation *Hidden CD in glove box. Dash radio delete plate. *New body poly bushings *New Hotchkis springs *Aftermarket sway bars/bushings *Boxed/adjustable upper/lower rear control arms w/poly bushings *Upgraded/new steering box. *New full exhaust w/stainless Hooker Headers *All new body and door seals / rubber *New form fit car cover Motor was rebuilt buy Vrbancic Brothers Racing. (466HP/501 on the dyno) (was 396CI now 430CI) (non numbers matching but I think correct for the year). Precision machine work done to block so we started with a solid foundation. New Lunati stroker crank and rods. New Comp roller cam. Rebuilt stock heads/mild port-clean up with new stainless valves, seats, guides. Diamond pistons -- 9.5 to 1. New Edelbrock intake (port matched) and New Carb Shop / Holley (750 -flows 950) carb. New Comp stainless roller rockers and springs. About 2000K miles on motor/car since rebuild. No expense spared when I had this motor built. Everything in this motor was done beyond correct with serious attention to detail. (motor build was covered in a magazine) (Car as well)
